Flower Mound program to incentivize residents to upgrade homes
Flower Mound is moving forward with a plan to reinvest in residential neighborhoods with the help from local homeowners.
The Town Council on Monday approved a home improvement incentive program, a Chapter 380 agreement and an ordinance that will give homeowners a chance to receive an economic incentive for home improvement projects.
The goal of the program is to improve the appearance of neighborhoods, increase the stock and value of homes and lessen the burden of homeowners who want to make improvements, said Debra Wallace, assistant town manager.
